Peptide calculator

What is the total volume of your syringe?

This calculator uses a U-100 scale (100 units = 1.0 ml). A 0.3 ml syringe holds 30 units; 0.5 ml holds 50.

Correct peptide reconstitution

Chemix Labs peptides ship as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powders. That form tolerates short temperature swings in transit. At room temperature the dry powder stays stable for weeks, but it still needs proper storage to hold integrity.

Before laboratory use, the lyophilized powder is reconstituted with a suitable solvent to make a solution. Accurate reconstitution keeps the peptide available for research protocols.

Start preparing the environment

Reconstitution is laboratory work. Wash hands, wear gloves and eye protection, and keep the bench clean. Have these ready:

  • Lyophilized peptide in a glass vial
  • Sterile syringe
  • Solvent (bacteriostatic water)
  • Gloves and safety glasses

Adding the solvent

Draw the calculated volume of bacteriostatic water. Inject it slowly into the peptide vial. Tilt the vial at 45° so the solvent runs down the inner wall.

That limits bubbles and foam and lets the cake wet evenly. Swirl gently. Do not shake.

Storage of peptide solutions

Store dry powder at +4 °C for short term, and at −20 °C or colder for long term.
